Cooking Classes

Shiitake Mushrooms

​Farm-to-table takes on a whole new meaning when you get to bring the freshness of fields, orchards, and artisanal foods directly to your table. After a fun farm tour harvesting goodies with local farmers, sit back and relax while you watch, learn, enjoy and ask questions to our local chefs while they prepare a feast for us to enjoy together alfresco.

We went the vineyard for a corporate retreat and booked the Chef and Farmer for a Day through Farm.Field.Sea. Nevette and team did a wonderful job managing our big group (20+ people) and had a beautiful day planned for us. The scenery was beautiful and it was so much fun to explore a new, more remote part of the island. My group loved learning about the shiitake mushrooms grown on the farm and the focus on "baby" vegetables that have proven to be very popular this season among the local chefs in the area. We loved the opportunity to learn about the oyster business on the island and even shucked our own oysters. And to top it off, we loved the picturesque table where we enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by a local chef.  ---Boston Consulting Group
